Safe in Portland–not much time to post, as we are headed out momentarily for breakfast with Ken Scholes and the imminently increasing Clan Scholes. No computer time yesterday at all–from the moment I landed till 10pm, things were happening here in Busyland.
Longer post later. For now, this is just to say:
-Oncologist visit yielded little or no new information, but presented the current information in a much less dire and urgent way. (Afterwards, Jay and I discussed the “Marcus Welby effect” of talking to a doctor who is calm, assured, comforting, professional, etc.) Jay will post later about it in detail and I’ll provide linkee.
-Dinner and the subsequent Green reading were both fun. So many copies of the book were signed, and were sold! Again, details (and photos) to follow, probably this afternoon.
Off to breakfast! I’m starving.
