Hey guess what? I’m going to be editing an anthology! You should totally submit to it!
It’s with Evil Girlfriend Media, and the deadline is May 1. So you have plenty of time to get your story in. Even if you haven’t started it yet. Submission guidelines are here.
Here’s the description of the anthology: What if you had the power to sew up the mouth of the evil bitch who called you fat in 10th grade? How would you deal with a curse that caused you to be infertile because you stole the heart of someone else’s love? Would you choose love or the ability to have children? We are looking for 13 stories involving a witch, a stitch, and a bitch. And, naturally, the title of the anthology is: “Witches, Stitches, and Bitches.”

In other news: dinner at H’s tonight. Well, there went all the diet progress for the year. 🙂 Oh and I wrote another 2,000 words on Hobgoblin, justlikethat. I am totally in the groove. I had actually made notes, when I finished writing yesterday, of what the next scene would be; but when I sat down to write today, it was obvious that an entirely different scene was next, one I had no idea was there. But it was, and I wrote it, and it was exactly right.
Dang, it’s nice when it works.

In other-other news, I actually worked in the garden today, in the rain and everything. Dead-of-winter gardening has its own particular satisfactions. It’s all about cutting down dead things and putting them in the compost bin. It’s like tidying, or proofreading.
Yeah I’m weird. I’m okay with that.
