Review Love

The other day I got wind of this very positive, very detailed review of Witches, Stitches & Bitches by Vagabond Saint. It’s a great look at the book and each of the stories; he really GOT them, I think.

And I’m taking it as a compliment that the reviewer didn’t even mention my name until I wrote asking to be tagged in the review. 🙂 The stories are the focus here, as they should be–as I want them to be. Without the fantastic, diverse, amazing stories we gathered for the book, there would BE no anthology.

Speaking of the amazing stories: “Blood Magic” is on the Nebula suggested reading list (and a copy is uploaded in the forums). If you’re a SFWAn, please consider reading the story, and giving it a thumbs-up if you are so inclined. I wish I could, but as I’m the editor, for some reason that’s frowned upon. 🙂

  1. Wow, thanks for the mention! I agree with you that the focus should be on the stories, but I know from experience that editors are unsung heroes! Without your superior editing skills, WSB would not be as excellent as it is!

  2. Oh you’re welcome! Thanks for the review! I’m so thrilled you loved the stories. 🙂 And took so much time and care to write about them. 🙂 🙂
