It was a day of much joy.
We went to the mainland and fetched Chaz and Karen and brought them back to our island, and there was much rejoicing. (After, of course, much logistical ridiculousness; but then, that’s the nature of traveling to the island.)
And before that, we did some lunching-out (sushi!) and some Costco-shopping (bargains!).
Oh but BEFORE THAT…we went by this little shop in Anacortes, that might have perhaps had something that maybe could give a bride just beginning her research some ideas about what she might want, and….
I might have kind of bought a wedding dress.
I mean, you guys…it’s just PERFECT on. (Yes, I’ll model it…soon.) I probably want to put a little more frippery on it–a piece of lace, a pearl or two–but, oh, wow. It’s light as a feather, and drapes just incredibly, and fits me like it was made for me, and….yeah. Wow.
Now our road-weary guests are asleep, and so should we be!
