Hitting the Road

One more day at home (tomorrow), and then we hit the road again–for my mini-book-tour through Northern California.

First stop: Ukiah, California, and the Mendocino Book Company. I’ll be reading and signing there Thursday, January 15, 6:00 p.m.

From there, it’s off to Mendocino, and the Gallery Bookshop. My reading/signing is Friday, January 16, at 6:30 p.m.

And then to San Francisco! I’ll be reading at Borderlands, Saturday the 17th, at 3:00 p.m.

I hope you can join me!

Meanwhile, the workity-work continues, with a huge side order of Baffling Computer Problems. It seems that I suddenly cannot receive emails with attachments, to my primary email address–from some senders, not all. Except small attachments are fine, sometimes, from at least one of the senders. The senders vary (one gmail, one not). I can send attachments to myself from my gmail account. One of the emails that did not go through went to all the other recipients just fine.

It’s, well, baffling. I was on the phone and chat with my web hoster/email provider for hours today, and they are baffled too. The messages are not hitting their servers at all, so they’re not being rejected there. They’re somehow not making it out of their points of origin–except they always did before. And they’re making it to other recipients.

Grr. It is, as yet, unresolved.

Which, I might add, I sent as an attachment to my primary email address, from my phone.

Oh! Almost forgot! You can preorder the audiobook of Our Lady! If you are so inclined.

And a few new Amazon reviews have come in. If you’re wondering what nice thing you can do for an author, let me tell you: Amazon reviews. Oh yes. And award nominations! Why not! 🙂

And come to the readings! All these things are good things.
