So I went around taking a few photos. Cause that’s what tourists do, right?

The door to Auntie’s pantry

One of Auntie’s paintings. It’s from a photo of our family from 1954. My mom is the dark-haired girl with bangs on the left; Auntie is blonde and on the right. The parents are (of course) Grandma and Grandpa; Uncle is the little boy.

One of the rooms in which Auntie stores her art

This awesome picture hangs in the front hall

This is in the room where I keep my stuff and do my yoga–sorry about the glare, there’s a high window above the painting

This is a portrait of Auntie by a friend of hers, hanging in the living room

Here is a piece in progress

Over the living room is the loft where I sleep

Of course there is a bidet! We’re in Europe!

Last but not least–and not at Auntie’s house–we went to town this morning for a coffee and whatnot, and stopped by the museum of antiquities, and, well, I guess the rest pretty much describes itself. 🙂
