Though I wish it didn’t, it really bothers me when people unfriend me on LiveJournal. I think it’s the terminology. It’s pretty much literally saying “I don’t like you any more.” “We used to be friends and now we’re not.” It feels personal, when (in most cases anyway) I’m sure it’s not. Everyone’s internet time
I think I’ve been remarkably calm about the giant spider that’s been lurking in a corner on my bedroom ceiling these past two nights. A *different* corner each night, mind you. Just sayin’.
I got news this morning that my dad went in for emergency surgery last night for a detached retina. Scary, but they caught it in time, and expect a full recovery. Also they checked the other eye and it’s fine. He’s resting more or less comfortably–in a hotel. See, my folks live at an altitude

I am back from Seattle…I hate leaving Seattle, though I love coming home. Except…there was something very disappointing when I came home. 🙁 You remember the tree-removing from last week.
