Another 2,000 words today. Total: 9,000. Which, if I’m aiming for a 60K YA, is a lot! (note: at this pace it’s going to be WAY more than 60K.)
I’ve realized that not every single word in the previous draft is utter junk, so maybe 400 of today’s words were adapted from a previously-written scene. Even so: progress.
But I still haven’t gotten up to the plot-starting event, so, um. Well, we’ll see. I can edit it later…right? RIGHT?

In other news, I’ve been home nearly three weeks, it must be time to leave again. Specifically, I’m headed up to Seattle for the weekend. Haven’t seen my beloved since New Year’s Day. I’m looking forward to it!
