Yes, we got to Brighton on time and with everything intact.
And it’s been pretty much nonstop since we got here! And to have internet in the room costs 15 pounds a day, so everyone connects for free down here in the lobby or bar. And my computer’s battery was dead, so I’ve just managed to borrow a power cord from suricattus and charge up. (Yay!) But that was yesterday and this is my first moment actually using the computer. 🙂
And I had a lovely birthday, and there are eight jillion Facebook messages wishing me same, and unresponded-to LJ comments, and hey, maybe that will all wait till we get home.
Our room is very nice–on the top floor of the hotel, ocean (channel) view.
Though we’ve barely been outside–busy, and it’s been raining. Though it isn’t now. So maybe outside-going might happen?
Oh and I’ve lost my voice. 🙂 But on the plus side, many wonderful things have happened that I can’t tell you about yet, but will soon.
