That weird bright thing came out in the sky today, for the first time in a while. So, of course, we got a lot of work done indoors, but we also went outside for a hike up Turtleback Ridge.
Before that, I gave Mark a little token help on his woodpile, then made him pose all manly-like with his axe.
He’s such a good sport.
This evening, we had guests arrive, and we stayed up probably too late, being serenaded on the guitar, before a cozy fire. Oh and before that, we did a bit of wedding-planning, gathering costs and all, we searched for the best products online and we found this site https://www.chloebeck.co.uk/wedding-sweets/sugared-almonds. Whereupon, and not for the first time, “maybe we should just elope” was uttered. I won’t say by whom. Only that, having been down this road once or twice before, none of this surprises me in the least… 🙂
