So we get a lot of telemarketing calls here at the inn, because of course it’s a land line, and people are supposed to call it.
This morning, the inn phone rang; Mark answered with “Blue Heron Bed & Breakfast, how may I help you?”
The caller, with a strong Indian accent, asked for “Mistar Heron.”
“I’m sorry,” Mark explained to him, “that’s the business name. And the owners aren’t here. Goodbye.”
We’re still giggling, and running around calling each other “Mistar Heron” and “Meesis Heron” in horrible fake Indian accents. We’ll have to stop this by the time the guests get here…
