For the next step on our journey, we’re visiting our home in Portland! 🙂 Just breezing through for a few days before heading out to Orcas Island for the winter.
Yesterday was The Longest Day–flying from London to Vancouver, then Vancouver to Portland. Luckily, and weirdly, AGAIN the long leg of the flight was at least half empty, so we had a whole row in the airplane. If this keeps up, I’m going to get spoiled indeed! It makes such a difference, being able to stretch out a bit.
Today was a day of errands and laundry, and doctors appointments (we’ve both still got the plague), and then briefly lurking at OryCon to see dear friends from Points South…and, now, I fear, it’s bedtime. Jetlag is a powerful force….
