Oh, don’t you want a nice collection of short stories by me?
Eastlick and Other Stories is available from Book View Cafe, and I had almost no time to blather on about it to you all when it was released, because I was flying to London. But I’m so proud of this little book–it’s all my favorite previously-published short stories, plus one that’s never been seen anywhere. Plus a gorgeous cover by Mark. Go forth and read!

Okay enough promo. 🙂 Mostly, here we are packing for Orcas Island. We did stop by OryCon yesterday, for a few business meetings and some socializing, and then to capture our visiting friends for dinner out. I briefly saw Katie, publisher extraordinaire of Evil Girlfriend Media, and learned some MORE good news I can’t tell you about yet (the secrets are piling up!), but which is very exciting.
Oh! But there is previously-secret good news which I CAN share, and that is that Mark’s novel, The Book of Joby, is going to be translated and published in China! His first foreign sale. We’re stoked.
And let’s see. What else? I do still want to write up The Journey of the Art Box, but that may have to wait till next week (and hopefully I won’t forget all the details by then). It wasn’t the only heavy part of our luggage. We did the best we could, but as you know, World Fantasy is the con that gives away awesome books, and of course we maybe had to buy one or two, and maybe a friend gave us one, so…this happened.
Which now needs to get packed up to take to the island. Along with everything else. So I guess I’d better get back to it!
