Valentine’s Day (Take Two) was lovely–even if we didn’t get to see Cirque du Soleil–and we stretched the celebration through the weekend. As in, we laid very, very low. Didn’t even leave Mark’s room all day on Friday; went out for a little while yesterday. Though I did manage to get another 3,000 words done
So, faithful readers will recall that Mark and I were both sick last week, rendering our planned Valentine’s Day celebration (nice dinner out, Cirque du Soleil) inconvenient and implausible. The antiviral I was prescribed for my shingles has to be taken five times a day–with food. There’s a reason for that…and though I diligently ate every time I took a pill this last week, I also experienced evidence supporting that reason. But it was minor, and I didn’t worry much about it.
