Oh, it’s back on. My website and email were down for a good chunk of today…my email was actually bouncing messages back with a “user does not exist” message, which was pretty darn annoying, I have to say, as I use that email address for all my freelance work contacts (as well as everything else).

There’s a new Irish pub in town, just opened on New Year’s day. It’s in an incredible space, right on the water in Eastsound, with incredible views. So we get a lot of telemarketing calls here at the inn, because of course it’s a land line, and people are supposed to call it. This morning, the inn phone rang; Mark answered with “Blue Heron Bed & Breakfast, how may I help you?” The caller, with a strong Indian accent, asked for “Mistar
